I purchased a Tab s6 lite in November 2020 and it still queries marvelously. However, I'm looking for life expectancy of the device.

No idea, I'm still rocking s7 it's getting updates.That's all I really care about the security updates. i think i've got ui updates too a couple of 'em. I can't keep up with all the updates. I have too many devices.
