Unable to send voice messages from my Tab S8 Ultra

Ok....I'm using Google messages...on my phone annnd tab S8ULTRA.

Why can't I send voice message from my tablet...there is no mic to record and send as "recorded" message....turns into written text on my tablet....please let me know what I might be doing wrong🤪😯

I have the same Tab and also don't see a voice message option, but it is there on Samsung Messages, you can still send a voice message through that if you want.

I can't seem to be able to get Samsung messages...just using Google and...Facebook messenger

It should be on that tablet by default, if not check the Galaxy Store to see if you have it installed

You're not doing anything wrong as I can't even get Google Messages to speech to text.

Samsung Messages still has voice messaging and can be found in the Galaxy Store.
