One UI 6.1/6.1.1 update for Galaxy Tab S8 +

Is there anybody that owns a Galaxy tab S8 Plus with 5G on the T-Mobile network that lives in the United States that can confirm whether T-Mobile is actually been releasing the one UI 6.1 or one UI 6.1.1update? because I still haven't gotten it and they keep beating around the bush of when it's going to hit the market but their website says it's been cleared for launch for many months now. I'm still stuck on the one UI 5.1!

Hi i dont own a tab s8 plus with tmobile but i sure can tell you that there is something wrong with your tab. Tmobile is one of the first companies to release software updates when avaliable.
6.1.1 was release few months ago. Your tab is a bit behind on updates. 5.1 is last year's software.

Try using Smart Switch

Smart Switch for Windows https://www.samsung.com/global/download/smartswitchwin/

Smart Switch for Mac https://www.samsung.com/global/download/smartswitchmac/

Step 1. Connect your device to your computer using the USB cable provided with your device, and then open Smart Switch on your computer

Step 2. If a software update is available, Smart Switch might automatically prompt you to update the software or will display an option to update

Step 3. Click Update and use the on-screen prompts to download the necessary files.

Step 4. Click OK to proceed. Your device may turn off and on a few times during the update process. When the update is complete, the device returns to the Home screen

Note: Don't disconnect the USB cable or use your device.

@Pep1286 LTE Tabs generally get later, and less often, updates than Wifi Tabs. The Wifi Tab S8's got 6.1.1 on 9/23/24.
