I am giving my tablet to my husband. If I factory reset will this affect my android tablet?

If I understand correctly you purchased a new tablet and giving your old one to your husband.

If you transferred everything from your old tablet to the new tablet nothing will be affected on your new tablet when you perform the reset of the old tablet

I do not want to keep the data on my old tablet. I want to make sure that the reset will not affect my samsung phone

Resetting your tablet shouldn’t do anything to your phone. I’ve reset a bunch of tablets and it’s never affected my phone. Just make sure before resetting to do a backup on your tablet and make sure everything is on your phone that will be deleted off the tablet.

If your worried sign out of your Samsung and google accounts before doing the reset and you should see no changes in your phone

I don't need anything from my tablet. Signing out is a great idea. Happy New Year
