Help pics not showing in gallery

Hi, all of my pics have disappeared in my gallery. It was only showing essential albums. I only have certain albums left. How has this happened and how can I get it back?

Choose to show all albums. Or go to the pictures tab and see if all your photos are there. Open Google photos and see if your photos are backed up there. Albums/photos don't just disappear on their own.

Also check Microsoft One Drive. Your pictures back up their too.
