"Find My Device" got complicated.

I have just switched tablets from a Galaxy Tab S7 5G FE to an S8+. On the old tablet, I could find my cell phone by opening the assistant and saying "Find my device." It would ring the phone. Now when I say "Find my device," it sends me to a web page from which I must answer questions before it will ring the phone. It's a hassle. How can I restore the desired behavior?

My Tab S8U still operates by just saying find my phone through Assistant. Is it possible that your Tab S8+ is actually using Gemini which may operate differently?

I don't know what Gemini is. I've got OneUI 6.1.1, if that means anything. I any case, I found the old assistant ap and put it on my home page. Problem solved.
