Question for A9+ tablet usera: Using the side buttons for screen shots is not taking screen shots. I'm lost and frustrated. Help!

I've seen that page, but nothing seems to work on my tablet A9+. When I use the buttons as suggested, it only causes the volume to get loud, etc.

@Sominex Are you simultaneously clicking the side button plus volume DOWN button?

The placement of the volume button is different than that on a tablet. On a tablet the volume button is below the side button vs a phone.

It appears that you are using the volume UP button.

Nope, it goes: down volume first, then up volume, and then the off/ on "button"

Pushing the down volume simultaneously with the "button," just as directions say, causes volume to increase without any screenshot.
Just using the volume buttons for volume, they work perfectly.

I took off my cover to see if it was causing my problem. I have the small button, and one long button for the volume, up or down. It still didn't let me do a screenshot. 🤪

@Sominex If you hold the Tablet in portrait mode with the USB C port down.

The top button on the right side is the "side" button. The next button down is the volume control. Pressing the top of that button is volume up. Pressing the bottom of the button is volume down.

You must simultaneously click the side button and the bottom of the volume key to get a screenshot.

I think I have resolved my problem. On my old tablet, I had to hold the buttons down until the screenshot took. I hit the small button and down volume and quickly released them. Problem solved. 😁
