Forgot passcode for tablet Samsung Galaxy TabS7

Hi there,

Can someone help me with a very common issue?

I changed my password and next day I forgot it. Lots of children's photos there and lot's of important data. Don't want to do the factory reset not to loose all the data.

I remember my Google and Samsung account passwords, and the tablet is linked to my account, but I can't find how to unlock it remotely.

My husband jokes that it's so easy if you have Apple devices...

I'm desperate, please help.

Sorry to have to say this but if you forgot the password the only solution to remove it and get back on the tablet is a Factory reset.

You can go to photos.google.com and sign in and hopefully all of your photos were being uploaded and saved to the cloud somewhere.

or if you were backing up to Onedrive, Amazon Photos or one of the others

You will be able to preform a restore when resetting up the tablet and that should bring a lot back if you were backup

Hey, I think that has happened to all of us at least a few times! Have you tried going to account.samsung.com and reset your account? Type in your email address for your username, and then when it asks for your password, indicate that you have forgotten it. You should receive an email with instructions to reset your password.

They know the Samsung password for the account. But don't remember the password to login into the tablet 2 separate things
