I recommend that you do this after every device update. It wipes out incompatible or outdated cache information which might be incompatible after the update. It does not erase any user data nor applications.

To wipe the device cache partition:

1. Power off your device.
2. Power up while holding down the Volume up key and the Side key until the Samsung logo appears.
3. An Android recovery menu will appear.
4. Use the Volume down key to scroll down to Wipe cache partition.
5. Click the side key to select it.
6. Use the Volume down key to scroll down to Yes.
7. Click the side key to select it. The Cache will be wiped almost instantaneously.
8. Click the side key to select "Reboot system now"

Tablet updated restarted fine. But a lot of apps do not work or partially. Facebook pops up fine click to go to read the news the articles and the text is there no pics with the text. Gasbuddy comes up no problem I'm signed in but no prices no stations. Bring up gas buddy in chrome works fine. I am not a newbie and I worked at Milestone answering tech support calls. So yes I cleared cache I restarted i removed the app and re installed it Same issues. Tablet worked perfectly before the update.

Hello @gypsy111! Thank you for reaching out! If the information from @LongHiker did not help, I recommend resetting your app preferences. You can do that by the following: Settings > Apps > All Apps > 3-dot menu > Reset app preferences. You can also try booting your tablet in safe mode to see if it's the update or if it's one of the third-party apps. Please use this link to help go into safe mode: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10003495/.

As a final troubleshooting option, I would recommend factory resetting your tablet if nothing else has helped. Please back up anything important first, then go to the following link for reset options: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10002030/

If none of this helped, service would be the only other option. Depending on your warranty, you will have a few options.

- If your unit was recently purchased, you can check with your retailer on their return/exchange processes.
- If you have an extended warranty you can reach out to them to have service set up.
- If you're within the one year warranty, you can Private message me or one of our moderators or you can call in directly at 1-800- 726-7864 with your full model and serial number to have service setup
- If you're OUT of warranty, you can use this link below to find a service center in your area.

https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/locations/
