Thoughts on the changes in UI 7 to the notifications and settings screens?

personally hate how they separated them and have no idea why they thought it was a good idea. just looks and feels atrocious to use, but i cant seem to find any way to swap it back. anyone know how?

also, did anyone even ask them to do this? it seems extremely unnecessary and like a superb way to waste your developers' time considering how absolutely useless it is to separate them to begin with.

Go to Quick panel by swiping down from the top right, pencil icon and go to panel settings and toggle on together.
