Touch and Hold delay

My tablet now pops up with this Download Share Print thing if I press it too long. I have no idea where to turn this option off, or am I stuck with it? Downloads are impossible to open, btw.

It's a pop-up menu when you long press something on your screen. It's like right-clicking on a computer mouse. Just tap anywhere else to get rid of it.

Sorry, long pressing text or links will always bring up options. Go into settings > accessibility > interaction and dexterity > touch and hold delay to increase the amount of time it takes to register a long press (see screenshot).

Thank you! I have been using Samsung tablets for 10+ years, and this never happened before. I wonder if the default got changed in the last update.

You're welcome. I don't think anything was changed as far as default long press delay. But now you know how to change it.

Dang, I marked this as resolved before I tested it out. I upped the time to 2 seconds and it made no difference.

Are you getting that pop-up in one particular app or multiple apps?

Brave for the internet. Just tried Chrome, and the extended delay worked. I'll check Brave settings.

Just closed Brave and reopened it and delay worked!

Yay! You may need to close and reopen apps for the new setting to be recognized.

EDIT: Restarting the tablet is probably also a good idea.
