topic How to Export an Infinite Scroll file into Google Drive as a PDF without having any Page Breaks in Tablets

Hello Samsung community!

I was wondering if anyone could help me with this, as I am seriously at my wits' end. Everything I have tried to do when exporting an infinite scroll note to Google Drive always ends up having page breaks. I am pretty sure a continuous page as a PDF file is possible in Google Drive, since I have received files from other people that seem to be that.

I have tried emailing it to myself, using phone link, using QuickShare, and regular export. I have even downloaded it to my computer first, but it always ends up with those **bleep** page breaks!

What I have been doing is either trying right from Samsung Notes or downloading it and trying to share it from there; the issue of those haunting page breaks strikes again!

I have even tried to export it as an image file, but then it is shared as multiple separate images, never the unattainable one image.

If anyone could help, that would be greatly appreciated, as I much prefer the infinite scroll for many of my notes, and those page breaks completely ruin the whole point of *infinite*.

Thank you!

Why don't you ask the people sending you the files how to do it? What do you mean by page breaks? Literally or the way a page is supposed to appear? In sum, Its doable but there are risks from what I read, and I don't want you to think notes can perform any of this. Not trying to be rude just looking out for you. If I'm wrong, and I could be, but maybe someone will direct this in a better answer.

My guess would be that those files you received were actually created in a full featured version of Adobe Acrobat. The pdf coverter in notes snd other apps do not have the same features.

Don't worry! I asked them too, but they don't use Samsung Notes, so I'm not sure how helpful it will be. However, I will report back if they have a solution.

I asked over on Reddit as well, and someone offered me a link to a "Merge Multiple PDF Pages Into One Page" website that did work, but it is a long process that I would like to streamline for my own benefit.

However, a solution is a solution, and thank you for your concern!

Unless I am mistaken, they use the program OneNote. I am not sure how Adobe Acrobat works, as I have never used it, but I am assuming they did not do this.

Thank you for your response!

OneNote is a Microsoft product. The app as a standalone, is free. It syncs with Samsung Notes, so you can use it in conjunction with Samsung Notes. If I am not mistaken, Microsoft's pdf converter has some of the same type of features as Adobe Acrobat - it's certainly more robust than Samsung's version. Adobe is the gold standard, as they pretty much invented the pdf. As such, their app has many more features.

I see, thank you for clarifying! Do you believe it is worth to use Adobe Acrobat then (if a "full featured version" costs money, I will not be purchasing, in which case, is a non-full featured version worth)?

I use a full featured version of Acrobat on my computer, I don't really have a need for it on my phone. Acrobat reader, which is free, is fine for reading pdf documents as is any pdf reader embedded in any app. My copy is years old. I use it often. When Acrobat was first introduced for computers, it was incredibly expensive and mostly only affordable by enterprise users (companies). You can do that when you are the only one. Now they have, like Microsoft, gone to a subscription model.

It appears the Adobe reader can now perform certain functions that used to only be available in a full featured version. This is from their website: "Download the free Adobe Scan and Adobe Acrobat Reader mobile apps to easily create, view, comment on, sign, and share PDFs right from your phone." It looks like the Adobe scan app would do what you want - create a document with infinite scroll. https://www.adobe.com/acrobat/mobile.html?msockid=130f8632cd256cd815c896f2cc3f6d11
