Old emoji design come back please

Hey Samsung, I liked the old emoji designs with the big black pupils. The emojis now feel boring.

The emojis have not had the style you describe for several years at this point. They are unlikely to revert for a few reasons:

1) the emoji were initially changed for the sake of cross-platform compatibility. Previously, Apple vs Samsung emoji renderings were so different that it often resulted in miscommunications.

2) Google has just announced the redesign of 4,000+ emoji. Samsung is more likely to adopt or match Google's design than revert to an outdated legacy design.

Oh man! Google is redesigning 4000+ emoji?! How am I ever going to remember what some of the new designs mean. I'm still trying to be super careful not to text my kids or anyone something with a double meaning.

They're not dramatically changing the appearance. They are just taking the existing designs and giving them a more 3D look.

Here are some examples. New on the left, old on the right. Very, very subtle, but much improved imo.
