Is One UI 8.5 counted as an official full software update?

To be more clear,if we get 7 updates is one UI 8.5 counted as one of them.I remember 5.1.1 but I don't remember if it was counted as a full update.Because I feel like one UI 8 ain't something extravagant

Being a spoiled child I never keep a phone long enough to worry about how many system updates I get. Just have to get the latest and greatest.

No, it is still based on Android 16. 7 Major updates are for Android updates.

A major update is android 14,15,16, the .1 are minor updates. Your Galaxy s25 will get updated thru android 22.
