So I downloaded the beta and then pulled down my quick panel, and everything is missing.Except for the icons, whereas all the slide bars for brightness and the other controls thanks

Figured it out.. from that screenshot in your post, click the pencil to edit. At the very bottom of the screen it will have a + symbol to add more controls

You hot the pencil in the top right and then at the bottom you add the controls back because now it is way more customizable and flexible and allows you to choose what to include more freely.
