I updated to the beta 3 but did not see the calculator effect everyone is talking about. When I pressed the numbers on the calculator, there is no color change . Any suggestions ?

I haven't seen that effect at all and I've been using the calculator a lot lately for budgeting and other calculations

There was an update on the calculator. Which removed the effects. I already sent in for fix. The update was on 9 Jan 12.5.10.20

Uninstall the latest version and download the apk for the last one and you'll have the effect back.

I have cleared my cache on every beta update. I really hope they can fix the calculator app. I really liked it.
