I have my phone set to brightness max on every setting possible. It's almost like my brightness is stuck on adaptive brightness for some reason. It's not over heating or anything. Checked every setting to make sure it's as max as can be. Not sure what's going on. Anybody on the current BETA for One UI 8.5 and also noticing this? I shutdown phone a few times now.

Probably a glitch. Try restarting your phone; it should fix it.

I can set everything to max Brightness but the screen itself doesn't output the max brightness. I have an iPhone 15 as a work phone and the iPhone is significantly brighter than my Samsung. I checked every single setting possible. It's not even overheating either. So idk.

Just on the off chance, check accessibility/vision enhancements/extra dim and make sure that is turned off. I was struggling with a dark screen for awhile especially when I was outside and couldn't figure it out, turned out this was on.
