There's a secure folder version of Android Auto. Do you know if perhaps that version is turning on when connecting to your car? You should tell by the icon on your phone when AA is triggered. It's worth checking.

Was searching around but I couldn't find anything. For some reason, every time I plug my phone into my car, my android auto connects, but my phone prompts me to unlock my secure folder. I've tried clearly the cache partition, hiding the folder, restarting the phone yet It keeps happening. It's not a big deal as AA still works, but was wondering if it's happened to anyone else?

I mitigated this issue by:
1. Go into secure folder
2. Settings
3. Apps
4. Disable Android Auto

This worked because there's no point in using Secure Folder while on android auto (at least for me). Hope this helps.

Ive had this same issue as well and resolved it the same way. However notifications still show across on Android Auto from Secure Folder even though folder is locked and device is in Do Not Disturb. If using Google Voice for instance it will show the users number. This never happened previously on OneUI 7 or other previous versions. A feature or bug? It still seems to act as if Android Auto is connecting in Secure Folder somehow.

I checked and it's the default AA. Tried disabling the one in secure folder and it's still happening.

So after disabling it from secure folder, hiding secure folder, and then wiping the cache partition again this morning, when I plugged in the phone, it didn't try to open secure folder. THX everyone for the guidance.
