Try going to settings/apps/clock then click on storage and clear both the cache and data. The alarm(s) will need to be set up again. See how that works.

Since the latest update (Beta 8), not only is my alarm volume only playing at about a third loudness, but the chosen alarm screen to show does not work. Now I'm not sure, but didn't there use to be a volume slider in the alarm settings, because it's no longer there. I set the alarm volume to maximum in the sound panel, but it still only plays at about a third of the volume.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Thanks, that partially helped. It allowed the alarm volume to be full again (the most important part), but I still can't set a custom alarm background, or for the app background.

But as I said, the volume is the most important thing, so big thanks for the heads up.

Check to see if you gave it full access or partial access to your photos for custom backgrounds.
