UI 8 Beta

I joined the UI 8 beta And it says joined. I then went looking for a place to download it but instead I found my UI 7 update and accidentally started downloading it ... I paused it immediately (it says paused at 7%) ... Will my UI 8 beta update show up somewhere at some point? ... What should I do next?

The exact same thing happened to me and now I'm stuck with it saying I've joined but it downloaded 7. And still no path to the 8 beta.

If your phone is sitting on a UI 7 update (it might be the August security patch), you may need to finish installing that before proceeding with the UI 8 beta, which has the September security patch.

Yes I did. They told me to use the beta feedback to report the problem. I can't use the beta feedback because it tells me I have to download and install the beta before I can use the beta feedback. But I can't download the beta first.

Did you explain that you can't submit feedback because you can't install the beta in order to submit feedback?

@MG-ATX We've checked your device, and your current version is on One UI 6 OS, which was released in Feb of 2025. Once you update to the One UI 7 (which you are currently "paused" on), there will be several more updates before you could finally get the One UI 8 Beta software. We recommend installing all the updates to get to the Beta program.

@eodmule We've temporarily deregistered you from Beta, because your current device is not on the latest One UI 7 software. We kindly ask you to install all the updates until you no longer have the latest (which should land on DYG5 - August patch) and re-join the Beta for update.

I've completely updated to OneUI 7 and have enrolled in the 8 beta. The Member app says I've everyone's in the 8 beta and when I try to update from 7 to 8 beta is says I have the latest update, still at 7.
