Network stays locked in Roaming

I went into Mexico with my At&t service and when I was back in US, network still said Roaming. Tried the toggle on/off mobile data, but that didn't work. Then I tried toggle on/off airplane mode, but that didn't work either. Had to reboot and that fixed it for me. Anyone seen thus? For those saying slow mobile data problems, you sure you're not on Roaming?
