Hi. Do I have to uninstall Fine lock before One UI 7 rolls out to my Galaxy Z Flip6? Will Good lock be available now in South Africa with One UI 7? Thank you.

Hello,

No need to uninstall Fine Lock before updating to One UI 7—it should continue to work as it wraps around Good Lock modules. However, availability of the official Good Lock app in South Africa is still determined by Samsung’s regional policy, and unfortunately we don’t have visibility into when or if that will change with One UI 7.

We recommend keeping an eye on the Galaxy Store after the update rolls out in case regional support expands.

Thank you very much. I hope so. Samsung is the biggest in South Africa, and we are Samsung's biggest market in Africa. We should not be left behind or ignored.
