For powering on with mobile you can go to the following Settings > General > Network > Expert Settings > Power On with Mobile, and turn the setting on. Then you can use the smart things app to turn your TV off or on. You can use the following link to get this set up.

Hello! @mjohnson007 My apologies the settings I sent may or may not work with your model but will work for some, however, the wake on lan setting is not available for your TV. You can look at the user manual below to find more information.
I appreciate the response on the request above, but closing it and saying it is solved is not a way to run a community..

The above is not solve as I don't believe you even looked up the model as you would then know there is no Expert Settings on this model, this is why I asked the WOL question, so now if you can provide a link to how or even if I can get to that setting on this TV UN75HU8850 which is supposed to be a higher end TV even 5 years ago does not support especially sing the OS can be upgraded
