Right side of screen has gone dark

Hi, 

I turned on my tv today and the right side has gone dark. No settings, inputs, or hard resets make a difference. I’m assuming the LED backlight has failed like on everyone else’s. It’s an UA65RU8000 that I only use occasionally. Very disappointing.
