I am working with a Samsung UN82TU700DF and an HP Windows 10 laptop that supports Miracast. The laptop's model is 17-bs037cl if that matters. I've tried connecting a number of times after trying different things and I can't get it to work. Initially when the TV was bought using it as a wireless display didn't work, then it started working, and now it doesn't work again. The TV is up to date according to the update system in the TV's menus. The laptop is up to date. The BIOS, graphic's drives, WiFi driver are all up to date and the most current version of Win 10 available for the laptop is installed. Every time I try to connect I get the message "The connection request from <laptop> ... was not successful. You can try reconnecting using your mobile device." Just to try it I tried connecting my phone but it didn't work.
