Ads or "Suggested Content"

I'm looking at buying a Smart TV, I haven't owned a tv in over 10 years(I have my PC hooked up to a projector).  The one thing I've heard is some Smart TV's have ads or suggested content.  This is a deal breaker for me, how do I find which models have them?

Re: Ads or "Suggested Content"

Why did you avoid the question?

ALL Samsung TVs come with annoying, intrusive ads. You cannot turn them off.

Best to avoid if that's a deal breaker for you. I personally love trash so I'm fine with it.

Re: Ads or "Suggested Content"

Oi mate, all samsung tvs come with ads, as well as irremovable snooping like taking screenshots of how you are using the TV. Solely for selling you targeted advertising. Simply because paying thousands of dollars for a premium set isn't enough for them.

Don't buy samsung if you appreciate your privacy and hate advertisements

It's fascinating that the mods deflected towards "call us" instead of being upfront to the community about the fact you cannot turn ads off.
