My Samsung smart TV remote stopped working after a bad fall. To be honest, it'd been in bad shape but I tried to put it together and the red light flashes, and all I can do is turn it off and on. No other controls work. I'm trying to figure it out and possibly get a replacement one but it won't arrive for a while. I'm not sure what to do at this point and could use some help.
If you have a Samsung phone, you can use it as a remote with the SmartThings app. If you have a different phone, you can try downloading a universal remote app (a free one would be sufficient). As for a remote, I'm sure you could get one from Samsung or Amazon or buy a universal one from any store.
