Closed captioning started 2 days ago, we can't shut it off in the menu.

We have a 4k Smart TV, about 5-6 years old.  The closed captioning turned on a couple of days ago.  We did not turn it on, it can't be turned off in the menu.  The menu states this option "is not available".  Is this a Service provider issue? (Spectrum)

Called Spectrum, a  tech who helped me go to a special, internal menu to shut off the captioning.  Yea!

Hey @userI5TnVupC1c ,

 

           Have you checked to see if it is coming from your set-top box?  You should be able to check the menu on your cable remote and find the option to shut it off.  If this was helpful please leave a like and mark accept as a solution.
