We just went through this, so frustrating! It was there this morning, gone this afternoon. Stayed on the phone forever between Dish and Samsung. Samsung tech support was useless… still waiting for the “call back”… Lol. However we have fixed it! On the task bar where all the icons are, scroll to the left, click on “Source” then scroll all the way to the right to “universal remote “, and then we did a manual reset of the Samsung remote. It took several tries… but it’s back!
