How to connect/ add smart TV to smart things app

I downloaded SmartThings app in my android phone to connect and control my Samsung smart TV. It (TV) appear but it seems idle when I try to add smart TV to the apps. How to add? Or is it not compatible?

not using wifi. just mobile data hotspot. TV model number isUA55TU8000KXXM.
