I had one the mods create a service ticket. The local repair center that works with Samsung called to make an appointment. The tech verified my finding which he also had to show Samsung during the visit via live call so they can see it too. A replacement panel was ordered and was replaced on the second visit. Just an FYI, if your tv is on the wall, take it down prior to panel replacement, also during the first call make sure the tech can access the back of the tv to take a picture of the serial number. Everything was taken care of by Samsung and it didn't cost me a single penny.
