Lost ARC on my 65" 8000 Series TV about a month ago. After trying every suggested fix I was able to fix it by disconnecting my Xfinity XG1-P cable box and connecting my Xfinity XiD-C slave box. All woks good now.
Hope this helps others wrestling with ARC issues.
