The remote control will not turn on or do any commands (volume, etc.) for the TV - (red light is blinking). We’ve tried all the pairing recommendations in other forums.

We can turn TV on by using our old AT&T remote, but the Samsung remote is completely disconnected and not functional.

It’s a one-year-old TV. Any suggestions?

Is the unit plugged into a surge protector? If so, try to plug it directly into the wall outlet. Surge protectors may eventually wear out and stop providing the necessary voltage for your TV. If you're using one, make sure that you rule this out before you set up service for a flashing standby light.

Are you able to turn the TV on using the buttons on the TV? If so, then you may need a new remote. If not, then the TV would need to be serviced.
