Unplug the wifi card & leave it unplugged.
Hardwired LAN works for me, although I've seen the LAN cable as the problems for others power cycling issues...This is how I stumbled upon my solution, after leaving the TV for dead 3 years ago.
I bought 3 UN32F5500 TV's to use as computer monitors, which all worked fine for the first 6 months. Then I decided to update the software via wifi & 2 of the 3 TV's began occasionally turning off. It started out occuring once every few days, then several times a day, with one (just fixed) becoming useless and entering an endless power cycle after the SMART TV logo appeared.
FYI: It's only been a few hours since I found my solution, so things could go bad again, but so far so good. Will update if things change.
I unplugged all interal wires and plugged them back in to make sure they had good connections, but I'm certain it was the wifi card causing the power cycles.
After getting the TV to work, I also turned off Anynet as some have said that is the cause of their power cycling issues.
Hope this helps OP.
I am on the latest firmware 2225 dated October 2018.
This was happening a year ago too few times, and having a 5 yr warranty through CostCo, thought will keep an eye on it. Lately its gotten worse (6 times in 15 minutes), but warranty ran out in May.
Any pattern or known solutions for this?
@SamDaMan If the software is up to date and you've already tried unplugging it for a little bit, service would be the next step. You can locate a local service center here:http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/location
My 2013 65in Samsung smart tv flips on and off and is not responsive to the remote. I’ve tried troubleshooting with sms support but was not able to find a solution. The software is up to date so I’m not sure what else to do
My Samsung Smart LED TV model # UN40J5200AF keeps randomly turning itself off and back on and it's only 2 years old. What can I do to fix the issue? I noticed all the questions asked are responded to by a request for a private message so I don't see the solution
