Samsung TU8000 does not have Multichannel PCM sound

I have a Samsung TU8000 TV (2020). Having spoken with a Samsung expert, I was informed that multichannel PCM (LPCM) is a supported audio format on that TV; however, when I run sound passthrough to my Sonos Arc, I still only get Stereo PCM 2.0. I have tried changing all audio settings to different configurations, but this is all that I get. For instance, if I have a Nintendo Switch running on it and try to get surround sound (which should be applied now due to the Sonos Arc's support of multichannel PCM), I still cannot get it.

Samsung, are there plans to update your firmware to allow for multichannel PCM sound? If not, will you please issue one?

I'm having this exact same issue with my Sony 7.1 Receiver via eARC on my Q80T. I'm tempted to return the TV and buy an LG instead over this.

I have the exact same issue with my new Samsung Tu7100, it won't pass LPCM from my google stadia, switch or PS5..... I m going to demand a refund and buy an LG if this issue isn't fixed....
