After 3 years of working perfecty my Samsung Smart TV 4k will not recognize my Sony receiver (STR-DN840) as of 2 days ago. I powered down both devices, unplugged the HDMI's and factory reset both. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Thanks. Yes both the TV and receiver have the most recent software. I think the HDMI cables are ok since the receiver menu is displaying on the TV. Thanks for the response.

I'm sorry to hear that, have you made sure that your TV is running the most recent software version? Also, have you tried using different HDMI cables? You can use the link belwo to update the TV.
