Just had the same thing happen to my 50" Samsung LED Smart TV 6200. Purchased the TV in October of last year (9 months ago). Today the corner of the TV started warping colors, got REALLY hot, and the casing on the side of the TV actually started to melt a little bit. We immediately turned it off and unplugged, called geek squad, and they told us they've never heard of that happening before, and didn't really believe us that it had occurred. So now we're waiting on a TV repair man to come confirm that the casing has melted and the color is warped before we move on to the next step.
I have this same issue with my 50" Samsung Smart TV. Today while watching a show, the screen first went white with blue streaks but sound was still playing. After restarting the TV, it is now a black screen with a white circle in the lower-right corner. But most importantly, the lower-right corner of the TV frame is now melted! What happened?

Yep. Same problem over here. Not sure what the warranty is but I've had the TV since November and it just started melting at the corner.
I hope there's a reasonable solution for this.
