Screen overheating and melting corner of TV - 6300 series LED

I own a Samsung LED TV 6300 series. The screen on the TV got so hot it melted the corner of the TV and the screen no longer functions. The TV itself was not on for the majority of the day. The TV was on for maybe an hour or so before it did this. There was no warning from the TV of it over heating. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I've owned the TV for just a little over 2 years and this incident seems as if the TV was not manufactured correctly as it happened completely unwarranted.

Where is my refund/exchange and why am I having to fight Samsung tooth and nail?  I will not stop as this issue is not the consumers problem and is a MAJOR fire hazzard!

My tv started to melt this morning, only 4 years old!!!

This started happening to me this past weekend, the TV is just over 2 years old.  The picture in the corner started going black and was so hot you could barely touch it, but just in the top left corner.  The frame started to split (front and back pieces).  I thought it was going to catch fire.  Turned it off and havent used it since.  

I will now have to replace it, if this is what I can expect from Samsung I will not be buying another one.  I have a 50" LG Plasma that is 10 years old and works perfectly.  If I dont get satisfaction from Samsung it will be going to a competitor....like LG

I will start with Samsung customer support unless some from Samsung reaches out to me throught this post

TV purchased less than 3 years ago.  Bottom left of the screen started looking funny, followed by white lines throughout the entire picture.  Suddenly, I went over by the TV and a puff of smoke came out of the TV.  Immediately unplugged the TV.  I see now there are many issues on this situation but doesn't appear to be a consistent solution.  What does Samsung intend to do about this as this to me is a safetly hazard beyond proportion.  Super dissapointed in a purchase gone bad less than 3 years old!

Now the technician said the repair is declined as Samsung feels it is caused from physical damage.  THAT IS A BUNCH OF GARAGE!  There is no physical damage other than it melting from the inside.  HOW did I do that Samsung!  BBB here I come and I am not sitting quiet about this especially seeing the number of others having this problem.  I don't think all these people coinciendtally caused physical damage?  I call BS on you Samsung and NEVER will I purchase another Samsung product!  Technician even felt that Samsung would replace the screen and was surprised when it wasn't!!

A few weeks ago my UN50J6200 started getting lines in it.  Within a couple of hours the bottom right corner turned black, smelled like something was burning, and was very hot.  I quickly unplugged it.  Now when I plug it in only two lines display, and the rest of the screen is black.
