I have a UN55MU8000 TV and it worked fine. I then bought a Bose Soundbar 700 and it worked great for 2 days. After that, the TV wouldn't recognize the soundbar.
i called Bose and they told me that this is an ARC issue with Samsung. He did offer me a tenporary "solution". Unplug the TV and the HDMI cable. Then plug in the HDMI cable followed by plugging in the TV. This actually worked, but it must be in that order. This bypasses the recognition step by the TV. Clearly not a long-term solution. He then told me that Samsung knows of this issue and needs to "free up" and fix the ARC.
I called Samsung and they did the typical troubleshooting: factory reset. This worked (because I unplugged the TV). This worked for a day.
Called back and they had no idea of this issue. At the end of our conversation, I will need to live with the issue and keep unplugging the TV. What a pain.
Does anyone know what can be done? This can't be a solution!
