This seems to be a very common occurs ce for this TV model ours after less than two years has done the same thing and no way to do the test we all have colorful lines vertical lines that is all over the screen . I was actually watching mine when it all of a sudden went completely green the background went dark and all the people in the screen turned green like the hulk and then seconds later the picture disappeared and colorful rainbow looking vertical lines is all we get now oh yeah and sound. Is Samsung doing anything about this . We have Samsung Everything in the house and loyal to the brand but after researching this particular tv that we paid over 1k for and finding out it appears to be a ramp if problem with this model makes me upset so I need a solution from Samsung or we are changing brands as they poop out . First was the ice maker and then a cheaper Samsung tv in my boys room and now our TV . Please help this tv should had lasted longer for the price!

I'm experiencing the same issue that everyone with this TV model has been reporting. I've tried the basic troubleshooting solutions with no success. I have contacted Samsung support and they were not much help. The representative stated, "We don't have any reported issue on this." I find it hard to believe that there have been no reports of this issue considering a large number of customers have reported the issue in the Samsung Community. I believe the representative was not being truthful.
I'm truly disappointed with this expensive Samsung TV and with Samsung customer service. This is unacceptable and should not be happening at this price point.
Are there any remedies for this known faulty TV issue?

Same issue just happened to me.....I purchased this TV right at 3 years ago and just got hit with the verticle line issue that many users in the community have reported. Although the TV is "out of warranty" I believe that an issue that appears to be somewhat common place should not happen.........especially when it was a $1,000 TV. Is there anything that can be done to fix this issue? Thank you so much for any help you can give me. Leeh
