hi!

i have a 4 year old UN55KS8000FXZA that displays red, blue and green vertical lines on all inputs and doesn't show anything else. It was fine last night when I went to bed, work up today and it looks bad. I can't bring up the heads up display to try a software reset  or use the tv at all. The speakers seem to be working fine and I can see it change colors when I switch between apps. I tried taking the power cord, smart hub cables out and reattaching them no luck. 
I spent a pretty penny thinking I wouldn't need a tv for quite a while, I'm heartbroken and disappointed that it has bricked up like this . Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix it :(

If these lines appear on all sources, inputs, and the picture test, this is going to require service.

Follow up!

samsung team reached out to me on the forums and offered to help fix the tv. The repair person said they can't locate the part they needed and would be willing to do a refund . They picked up the tv and gave me a refund! Samsung mods are amazingly responsive and helpful. I'm blown away by the support they provided.

Hi Samsung.  I am having the same issue tonight with the same model of TV.  The color of the TV was going out and then it switched to vertical colored lines.  I spent more money on this TV thinking I wouldn't need to buy a new TV for quite some time.  I have had a lot of issues with this TV.  The panel went out about a year after I bought it, and now this issue.  I really wasn't thinking I would have this kind of quality issues with your products.

Hi, I am having the same issue also, turn on the TV yesterday and vertical color lines instead of an image.

Any solution ?, thanks
