I have a UN65KS8500FXZA I purchased about 3 years ago. It is a 4K curved screen TV. It has a One Connect box. Can it be upgraded to the current version and functionality of the One Connect?
Also is there a longer cable available to the current box I have? I've noticed you can buy longer cables of the current version, but I need a longer one for my current box if it can not be upgraded.
I have a UN65KS800DFXZA (2016) that just started having a similar issue. None of the HDMI or other ports on the One Connect (BN91-17814W) work. The TV is fine for online streaming with the Ethernet connection. I tried to find another One Connect of the same model but couldn't - they seem to be out of production. I have a service call in with Samsung but am a bit frustrated as the One Connect seems to have a history of problems. Could there have been a manufacturing flaw? I'm also wondering now if there is something newer that might be compatible with the original One Connect.
