I have a Q70 and have connected Alexa. The SmartThings app and Alexa both work fine while the TV is on, but once I turn the TV off it drops from the network and the only way to turn it back on is with the remote. Once turned on again, the SmartThings and Alexa apps work again.
With the TV off when I try to turn it on via the SmartThings app I get a message that says, βOffline. Check that itβs on and connect (sic) to a network, and that the network is online.β This makes me think I am dealing with a feature and not a bug. Also the problem persists using WiFi and a physical network cable connection.
I bought the TV for a quadriplegic so being able to turn it on with voice controls is important.
