Hello all, I'm getting nowhere with this, so if anyone has this issue please reply so Samsung can see this.

 

I am the owner of a Q950ts 65" connected to an AV amplifier that supports Dolby Atmos etc.

 

I connect my blu ray player to the TV and use arc or earc to pass audio back to the amplifier.

 

The problem is simple, when eARC is enabled and I try to browse Netflix, I get a horrible clicking/popping sound emitted through the speakers.

If earc is enabled on the TV the popping sound is present, changing channels either on the Samsung TV plus app or browsing Netflix.

It's absolutely horrible.

If you switch off earc and use normal arc then the popping disappears!


Please Samsung, fix this.
