I have a UN50TU8000FXZA hooked up via the optical cable to a Yamaha A-S301 Integrated amplifier. Every 5-to-20 minutes we get a prompt that says "setting up to adjust speaker volume with smart remote". This mutes the Yamaha and we then have to choose to cancel or go to a setup menu, which stops whatever we're watching. At the setup menu we are prompted to select the brand of the output device (Yamaha), then the TV performs a test that switches the Yamaha off. Then we have to turn the Yamaha back on, go back to whatever app we were using and navigate to whatever program we were watching. The whole process repeats at random every 5 to 20 minutes. Anyone know of a workaround to disable the prompts?
