I noticed today that my 3 year old 40" 4k tv has blue discoloration spots on the right AND side of the screen. It's not a pressure point, and resetting the tv didn't help.

I can't afford to replace the entire tv, so any help would be appreciated.20210219_124736.jpg20210219_124932.jpg

Did you replace it yourself?

I haven't replaced any parts yet, I'm not confident I have the right parts selected for this model.

How were you able to determine which parts were the correct ones to order?

you could :telephone_receiver:call the Samsung or chat on their actual website give information and tell what you have, post model numbers and they should confirm. sometimes various models use the and circuit board.

I have the same Samsung TV in Philadelphia. The screen cracked and it cost 428 for a new panel. the LG cost 400 plus tax. both more than the actual TV sets. overall I didn't replace the screen displays.
