Logging devices out of your Google account will not erase any of your Google history.  What may happen is that if you log out the wrong device, you will have to log that device back in again. In addition to logging any unknown devices out of your Google account, you should also go to the play store (on a computer, as this can only be done on a computer), play.google.com. Tap your avatar, then select "library and devices", scroll over to devices on the menu and see what devices are listed. If any are not yours or were yours and you no longer have, uncheck the box next to it and it will take it out of your download options in the store.  If you actually do own multiple devices logged into the same Google account, be careful when you download to select  only the device you want it to download to.  Next to the install button is a little downward arrow, tapping that will show the devices and you would put a check mark next to the device(s) you want to download to.  If you only have one device,  or you have a device for which the app is not compatible, you won't see the option.

Another device, I'd recommend looking into logging out of all devices through Google. Then creating a new password

Thank you for the advice? If I log out, will it erase all my Google account storage etc?

No you gotta go to a PC or maybe your phone can do it. Google or a YouTube video could help show you. It's not just logging out, its logging out of all devices or anything you logged into OR if someone has your info it logs you out of EVERYTHING. It doesn't delete anything just logs out of all devices. But then very quickly make a new password

And, if you find a device that is *not* yours logged into your account, change your password immediately.  Not a bad idea to change it anyway.

Im having the same issue except strangly its my same device only its identified by the numbers instead of by galaxy 22 ultra, and its showing it as a seperate device. Its downloading every app to each device and causing both to operate simultaneously on my phone, causing battery and other issues.
Ive tried so many ways to resolve but to no avail

Google does this.  It can list the same device as "generic Android", your model number, your phone name.  It lists a new login every time you change locations or turn your phone on/reboot.  If you see a device that you do not recognize, check the location it says it's logged in.  If it does not match any place you've been, log it out (it's wild when you are flying or on a ship).  If you have, for instance an A15 and it's showing an S24 logged in, and you do not own an S24, log the S24 out.  You can log all the devices out that you don't recognize as the one you are immediately using.  The only thing that it will impact for you is if you log out a wrong device, you will have to log back in on it.

Also, follow my instructions above re the play store to remove any device from showing for download from your list of devices.
