Starting about 1 May, my A32 5G started showing extreme battery usage - almost 10% an hour, even when not in use. The battery app indicates that the culprit is likely Google Play Services - I have done the usual troubleshooting; cleared cache, restricted background data use, etc... to no avail. I've restarted the phone and made sure all apps, OS are up to date. I presume the problem was caused either by an OS or app update. Other than a sudden increase in battery usage, the phone is working/charging well. I have very few apps on the phone other than the standard Google/Samsung apps.
Until this happened last week, my battery was lasting for DAYS. Now it suddenly loses about 5% charge per hour -- this is completely unacceptable! If this is how Samsung product updates are going to be now, I'd rather put my money elsewhere.
Same issue for me too. I've had the phone for a few years now so I figured the battery might be getting old. I replaced the battery, but it did not fix the issue. Phone doesn't show anything wrong in maintenance reports, but it has to be charged daily where as before it could last almost 3 days. Very annoying.
