I tried chatting with Samsung sales support & got conflicting answers. Does anyone know if the A36 or A56 will be available in the US with 256Gb storage option. The only version I see on their website is the 128Gb without a microsd slot. I store all my music on the microsd card on my A52. Don't want to use the cloud as per their suggestion 'cause I don't have an unlimited plan.
Thanks in advance

I believe the A series phones are the only Galaxy phones that still have an sd slot. It's the bonus for lack of other features.

The new A36 & A56 do not have a microsd slot & seem to be limited to 128Gb storage in the US

I have noticed that Samsung has a decided lack of complete specifications for all their phone models on the website.  When looking for specifics, I had to Google for them and quite a few tech blogs listed the complete specifications.  I would imagine a phone with only 128 gigs of storage would still have the sd slot.  A workaround, if there actually is no sd slot, would be to obtain a low-profile USB-C drive and keep it attached to the USB port until you need to plug it in to charge.  Not ideal but would still let you listen to your music.  You could even just carry the drive around with you and plug it in when you want to listen to your music.

You'll have to check Amazon and ebay for the 256 GB storage. You'll pay a little more for them but not by much. No SD card slot though so proceed with caution.

If they find a 256 model on ebay or Amazon, it for sure will be an international model, which may or may not cause issues with carriers here.

Maybe so but if you use T-Mobile like I do you should be good. But yeah International/global models come with carrier risk.
