First, clicking on icon dials *86, which tells me that the call cannot be completed as dialled. Then, try calling number, itself. Redirected to visual voice mail, which, after three minutes of checking my account information, tells me something went wrong and to contact customer service. My provider believes it is a device issue. How can I get this resolved?

Try holding the number 1 on keypad until it says calling voicemail.

Hey Tscha, Welcome to the Samsung Community!

Weโ€™ve reviewed your situation and would be happy to help. First, have you checked your phoneโ€™s settings yet? You can usually find this under Call Settings in your dialer app.

To do this, open your phoneโ€™s dialer, tap the threeโ€‘dot menu in the topโ€‘right corner, and select Settings. From there, choose Voicemail (not the voicemail option that appears before the settings menu). You should see a section that displays your voicemail number.

If you select the voicemail menu option directly, it should dial your voicemail number, which will appear on your screen. If it does not dial a number, you will need to contact your carrier, as this likely means a voicemail box has not been set up on your account. We hope this helps resolve the issue you were experiencing, if not, don't hesitate to reach back out to us.  Thank you for being part of the Samsung Community!
